Johnsville Church Tour

Curious about the history of Johnsville? Mitch Olson, member of the Johnsville Historical Society, has offered to give PESPA volunteers a tour of Johnsville's historic St. John's Church, faithfully renovated by a dedicated group of volunteers organized to save this important building. Mitch will also be sharing a historical timeline of the community and its relationship to the surrounding mines.

While not a part of Plumas-Eureka State Park, Johnsville is an integral part of the Park's story. Learning more about the Johnsville community and the mining families that lived there is important to fully interpreting the gold rush era on Eureka Peak for visitors, so please join us for this educational and relevant tour.

Meet at the Johnsville Church on Church Street in Johnsville at 10:30am
