Winter trail use donations are not required but encouraged to ensure continued access to winter trails in the park. Help keep our trails maintained!
Suggested Day Use Donations
Adults (18+): $12 per day
Youth (12–17): $7 per day
Children (11 and under): Free
Suggested Seasonal Donations
Individual Adult: $80 for the season
Family: $125 for the season
Winter Trail Use Donations
Our winter trails are groomed and maintained by a dedicated team of community volunteers. Your donations directly support the cost of fuel, equipment upkeep, and essential trail work. With your help, we’re able to offer safe, accessible winter recreation while preserving an important part of California’s rich history.
Historic Ski Racing
The first recorded ski races in the Western Hemisphere began in the region in the 1860s. Miners raced on 12-foot Norwegian-style skis known as “longboards.” The unique tradition of longboards ski racing lives on to this day.
